Freshman Interior Design Studio
I was tasked with designing a loft apartment for my client Vincent Woods (user persona). I created a space for Vincent, his partner, along with their small dog. Vincent is an assistant director at MOMA and spends his free time hunting for antiques in local flea markets and visiting museums. I took inspiration from his interests and passions while creating his residential space.

The loft has one primary bedroom, two full bathrooms, and an office space. I took Vincent's career and interest with art history into account when creating the floorplan, making sure that I included an office in the space. Using his interests for the design, I aimed to create a beautiful classic loft that my client would enjoy living in and feel inspired in every day.

I included ample custom built-in storage systems for books, and plenty of spaces where Vincent can display his flea market finds. Neutral tones carry throughout all of the rooms, where brass hardware is able to stand out and shine, and the sage green accent color can pop. Classic moulding can be found in every room, along with various marbles in the kitchen, bathrooms, and intricate fireplace.

This project allowed me to develop my design skills and create an authentic space for my client. I gained the skills to design a beautiful residential environment that takes my client's interests into full consideration.
